I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences Department at UCLA. My work investigates how ocean circulation influences the climate state. In particular, I study the importance of geophysical turbulence for climate, using both fundamental knowledge of fluid flow and new methods from data science. I strive to improve our modeling capability and understanding of both physical processes and biogeochemical interactions, primarily in the Southern Ocean.
